We want to make it easy for you to get started with MyLanguageLabs! We offer several ways for you to learn about MyLanguageLabs and how to incorporate in into your course. Keep reading to learn more about our training options and consider which types of training work best for you.
Throughout the year, we'll be hosting regular Webinar sessions for you to learn more about the MyLanguageLabs system. During the Webinar, participants view the trainers' computer screen and have the opportunity to interact with MyLanguageLabs during the workshop. You'll need a computer with a broadband (T1, cable, DSL) Internet connection and a phone to call into the toll-free conference line. Special Topics of the MyLanguageLabs

These Rotated Special Topics include: (See Training Calendar for specific days offered.)
- Gradebook – Overview and how you find students grades and how students find their grades. In addition, an explanation of Course Average and Chapter Average columns, how to create customized columns in the gradebook and how to grade instructor-graded activities are also included.
- Making Assignments – How to assign homework in the MyLanguageLab with a due date and without a due date, how the students can find their assignments, and how you can tell if an activity is machine or instructor graded. In addition, How to change due dates (organize calendar) and how to accept late homework is also covered in this session.
- Creating Tests/Quizzes – How to create a Test and/or Quiz in the MyLanguageLabs and assign it online to your students.
- Wimba Pronto – This session includes an overview of the features of Wimba Pronto. This session also includes an explanation and a demonstration on the instructor and student set-up of Wimba Pronto.
- Creating your own activities and adding your own content – This includes how to create activities to assign, how to add content to a MyLanguageLab (Files, folders, syllabus,) Also included in this session is an overview on how to create your own instructor voice recording and have your students respond with their voice.
- Overview of the Today’s View –Overview of the entire Instructor’s Today’s View features, Alerts, Notifications, and how to customize them is covered in this session.
